Attendance
Absences:
If your child is going to be absent, please call our 24-hour attendance line at (602) 449-3201 by 9:00 a.m. the morning of the absence. Any absence not called in will be considered a truancy. You may also call in any planned/future absences at any time prior to the date your child will be absent. You will be contacted for all unexcused/unreported absences.
When calling in an absence, please leave the following information:
- Your child's name (with spelling)
- Student's teacher
- Student's grade
- Reason for absence
School Hours:
- 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. – The first bell rings at 8:40 a.m. with the expectation that all students will be in their seats and ready to start the school day when the second bell rings at 8:45 a.m.
- 8:15 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Playground supervision – Parents, for the safety and welfare of your child, please do not drop off your children before 8:15 a.m., as there is no supervision before that time.
- Early Release Days: The academic day is 8:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Office Hours:
- 8:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
